As a Seattle Boudoir Photographer I get to witness women rediscover parts of themselves they didn’t even realize they’d been missing. When Miranda walked into the studio wearing that bold red lace, she carried a spark with her – the kind that shows up when a woman decides, “This one is for me.”
She originally booked her holiday boudoir mini because she snagged a great deal…but the deeper reason was simple and powerful: She booked this session because she wanted to reconnect with herself.
Before her session even started, Miranda described her energy as: “Spicy. Fiery.” And that showed up in everything she did. Her body language, her expressions, the way she sank into the poses with confidence and ease. She didn’t hold anything back.

When I asked what she loved most about her time in the studio, she said: “Feeling connected. I’ve always felt welcomed by Amber. She treats people as more than a business transasction.”
Boudoir is emotional. It’s intimate. It’s not just about photos – it’s about feeling safe enough ot let yourself be fully seen. Every woman who walks into my studio deserves that.
Her reaction was short, sweet, and full of emotion:
“EXCITED!!”
There’s something powerful about seeing even one finished photo. It shifts something internally – a recognition, a spark, a moment of “Oh…that’s me?”
Miranda’s session had that magical holiday glow: soft winter light through the curtains, the white tufted bed, red velvet textures, and a warm Christmas vibe without being overly themed.
It felt intimate, bold, cozy, and alive all at once.
Miranda couldn’t have said it better: “Don’t wait – do the shoot. Start a payment plan. Save the money. Find a good deal.”
There’s never a perfect time. Your body doesn’t need to change. Your schedule doesn’t need to make sense. Your confidence doesn’t have to be “ready.”
You just have to want this for yourself – the same way Miranda did.

She also shared a story that means more to me than she knows:
“I remember the first shoot I did with Amber. I loved everything about it – the makeup artist was nice, the studio was beautiful, the music was vibing. I had a few drinks and talked with the girls. I felt HOT.
Day later I got my photos back and…I hated them. Not because Amber did anything wrong – I was expecting some porn star look or something. I struggled with my body image severely at that time.
I stayed involved in Amber’s Facebook group and watched other women post these perfectly imperfect photos. I watched their stories of learning to love themselves for what they have and work for what they want.
Over the years, we’ve done several shoots through different stages of my life, and I’ve learned to love my body through it all – because of Amber.”
THIS is why I do boudoir. Women’ don’t come to me to look like somene else. Women come to me to remember themselves.
If you’ve been thinking about doing this for yourself – whether you’re feeling spicy, nervous, or somewhere in between – this is your sign.
You do’nt need a special occasion. You don’t need the “perfect” body. You just need you.

For more than a decade, I've photographed women in ever yseason of life - from motherhood to rediscovery, from heartbreak to healing.
What I've learned along the way is this: the moment a woman feels safe to be fully herself is the moment her true beauty shines through.
That's why I created the Self Love Boudoir Experience.
It's not about looking perfect. It's about remembering who you are beneath all the noise.
In my cozy Grays Harbor studio, I've built a space where you can breathe, laugh, cry, stretch, and simply be.
Every detail - from the music to the lighting - is designed to make you feel comfortable and cared for.
You don't have to know what to do or how to pose.
You just have to show up - and I'll take care of the rest.
You don't have to become someone new to feel beautiful - you just have to remember who you are. And I'd love to help you.
And I believe every woman deserves to feel seen.
