This isn't your typical women's retreat. It's a bold photo shoot adventure designed to help you see yourself again - through your own eyes and my lens.
From October 18-26, 2025 join us in beautiful Belize for a confidence igniting getaway where the focus isn't on fixing or changing - it's about capturing the powerful, confident woman you already are, even if you don't see it yet.
With ocean views, island ease, and once in a lifetime photo shoots, you'll reconnect with your body, your beauty, and your sense of self. This is about claiming your story, feeling seen, and walking away with images (and memories) that remind you who the hell you are.

Two photo shoots in exotic locations (boudoir or portrait)

Free time to explore on your own
Meals are not included but we will plan get togethers and you can also find great food on your own!
Add on an exlusive photo shoot where you get to snorkel with sharks and other sea life and then spend the day on Caye Caulker with drinks and snacks included and a fun photo shoot on the beach.
Additional cost to add on is still yet to be determined. For now, please just let me know if you'd be interested.

No one wants to look like a wet dog in their photos so if it looks like it's going to rain, snow, hail or some other weather catastrophe, we'll be in touch via email or phone to reschedule.
Often, when we're scheduling our initial portrait session date, if it works for our calendars, we'll actually set up both a main date and a rain date just to make sure we don't have to postpone your session for very long if the weather is bad on the original date.
WHAT IF IT RAINS?
Within a few weeks of your session, you'll receive a link to a digital gallery that will allow you to download high resolution images.
The gallery is also set up to make ordering prints, canvases and other keepsakes as easy as turning on a Roomba to clean your floors. No worrying about tricky things like color correction, DPI and image format.

For anyone thinking of going on these retreats, do it. Don't hesitate. It's a beautiful location but also a beautiful soul changing moment. Fall in love with yourself again. And if you're in love with yourself, treat yourself and youll still take something away from this retreat.

Hey girl, I know how it goes. I'm a mom, a wife, a business owner...sometimes we get lost in all the different hats we wear. And there's nothing wrong with all the things we do, but sometimes we lose sight of who we are as women. Over the years I've realized that when I choose to put myself first and do something incredible for me, I take care of everyone else so much better. I've been photographing women at Photography by Amber Carl since 2020 and seeing all of these people walk through my studio doors unsure and not feeling their best to seeing them leave transformed from the inside out. That's what I am all about! I love helping women step into their power through a beautiful boudoir session. And right now may be the time for you to do just that!
