Typically when you try to come up with Beach Boudoir Shoot Ideas you probably envision it behind closed doors. But with beach boudoir you can not only reconnect with yourself but also with the beautiful surroundings of nature. So what do you say? Let’s go to the beach!

A beach boudoir session is perfect if you want to add something unique to your session. But it’s also very different from an in studio session. So I’m answering some questions here for you today in case you’re interested in scheduling one of these exclusive boudoir sessions!

What Time Would My Session Be?

We have a couple of options. Since the light is best in the early morning or later afternoon in Ocean Shores on the beach, then we’d start your session just after sunrise if you prefer the morning. Or around 4pm if you’d like later afternoon. That way there won’t be any harsh light or shadows on your face.

The benefit as well about these timeframes is that the beach is pretty empty.

Do You Have Beach Boudoir Shoot Ideas Year Around?

No! Because it’s the Pacific Northwest and we are lucky if we have a nice, warm summer…I only do beach boudoir sessions during the summer months. So June, July, and August. This way the water will have had a chance to warm up a bit and most likely we won’t get rained out.

It’s very difficult to feel sexy and confident when you’re freezing your butt off! And shivering and red faces don’t look great in sexy beach photos.

How Messy Are Your Beach Boudoir Shoot Ideas?

Honestly, it’s your session so these can get as messy as you want them to! You can choose to just stay on the beach and have the ocean as the background. You can choose to roll around in the sand! You can go out in the water and go all in! The choice is yours because it’s your session. But that’s something we’ll talk about as well leading up to your shoot.

When Will I Receive My Photos?

Once your session is complete my turn time to edit images is typically one week. So you will receive your online proof gallery to choose your favorites within one week of your session. Your online gallery will then remain online for 30 days so be sure to choose your favorites and order any additional prints/products if you wish to before that.

What Should I Wear For A Beach Boudoir Session?

Choosing outfits for the beach is for sure a little different than choosing outfits for an in studio session. Here’s a few suggestions on what to wear for your beach session:

1. Your bikini.
2. A flowy white t-shirt.
3. A white tank top or t-shirt.
4. A bodysuit.
5. A comfy sweater.
6. Jeans or jean shorts and a t-shirt.
