A luxury boudoir session with me here at Photography by Amber Carl can seem extravagant. For many women, it’s needed but they didn’t even realize it. As a woman you NEED to feel confident, beautiful, sexy. Many of us don’t even associate ourselves with those words anymore. You simply can’t put a price on the empowerment and confidence boost that a boudoir session brings to your life. And I’m not just talking about the sexy photos. I’m talking about the experience too.

When was the last time you had an hour or two to yourself? When someone did your hair and makeup for you in a way that made your eyes pop and your hair flow like you’ve never seen? When was the last time you spent some quiet time with you and reflected on who you are as a woman? The resounding answer I get whenever I ask this question is “Never.”

When we don’t take the time to put time and energy into ourselves, then how can we best take care of others?

Women walk into my studio unsure of themselves and not feeling so hot or confident. But after spending a couple hours together the biggest most common compliment I receive is how comfortable they felt throughout the entire experience. They feel like they had known me forever! Which made it so much easier for them to open up and be themselves, which is who you want to shine through in your boudoir photos!

You’re Not Just Getting Sexy Photos

It might be the main reason why you booked a boudoir session in the first place. But you’ll quickly learn that it’s not the only reason. This really could be the first time, maybe the only time, that you’ve decided to put yourself first. And you deserve that experience!

If you choose to add on professional hair and makeup with my stylist then you’ll begin your session by sitting in her chair. She’ll go over options with you from three different levels of makeup looks so you have a choice on which route you’d like to take. She’ll chat with you the entire way and help you start to feel more at ease.

Once hair and makeup is done we decide together what outfit you’re going to start with and determine a flow of which outfits will be next and so on. After that I lead you through an incredible experience where I can’t stop telling you how amazing you look! Worried about what poses to do? Don’t be! I guide you through every little movement big or small, tell you where to look and what to do with your face, and what to do with your hands! Sometimes we really get into it and start dancing to the empowering music I have playing in the studio throughout your session, that’s always fun!

And after your session is all over, you’ll leave my studio feeling like a new woman! Floating on a cloud of confidence! It’s really a beautiful transformation to witness.

How Do You Book Your Boudoir Session You Ask?

It’s easy! If you’re looking for ways to invest in yourself and think a boudoir session might be a great way (trust me, it is!) simply reach out to me through my website.

I’ll then send you over my investment guide depending on which of my three studios you’d like to do your boudoir session at. Your options being Seattle, Tacoma, or Grays Harbor. Then we choose a date, you pay for your session (in full or via payment plan) and sign the contract! Leading up to your session I email you with ideas on what to wear, what to expect, how to plan, etc. It’s so much fun to plan for your session! Then when the big day comes we have such a blast! The only sad part is how fast it goes by.
