Every single woman I photograph is beautiful from the inside out. It’s my job as your boudoir photographer to show you that your beauty lies within. And when you FEEL beautiful, it’s going to shine through in your photos bringing out that glowing inner confidence that you maybe didn’t know existed.

The Many Hats We Wear

As women we take on many different roles all at once. From wife to mother to business owner to friend to daughter you name it! So often we tell ourselves that we can do it all! And we can! But what does this eventually do? Taking care of everything and everyone else causes us to sometimes neglect our own well being. Taking care of ourselves on the inside for even just a moment can help us to feel better on the outside. Being beautiful from the inside out isn’t always referring to physical beauty. It’s how we feel about ourselves inside of our bodies and how that comes across on the outside.

How A Boudoir Session Can Help You Feel Beautiful From The Inside Out

Boudoir photos aren’t just that, sexy photos that you can give to the one you love. That’s a GREAT reason to do a boudoir session, don’t get me wrong. But even if that is your only reason you’re going to get SO much more from it. It’s the opportunity to give yourself some uninterrupted time to sit with and reflect on who you are as a woman. To have your hair and makeup done by a professional allowing someone else to TAKE CARE OF YOU. This is something we as moms rarely do anymore. When was the last time you did something just for you? I know sometimes it can sound selfish to want to do something just for you. But it’s these moments that we need to take advantage of. If we don’t take care of ourselves how can we take care of anyone else?

Leading up to your boudoir session I’ll help you prepare so you can decide what outfits to bring. Or you can take advantage of my client closet which has multiple sizes and styles to choose from. You can take a look at what’s available in my client closet here. We have so much fun leading up to your session creating mood boards on Pinterest and going through my style guide. Once you arrive for your session then you’ll sit down in my stylist’s chair as she not only does hair and makeup for you but helps calm your nerves and gets you excited for your upcoming shoot. When you’re all ready to go then we decide what your first outfit will be and you change into that. I’ll then guide you through the studio in poses and words of affirmation and postivity. This whole experience can help you feel beautiful from the inside out so that inner confidence shines through in your photos. My goal is to help you feel so comfortable that the real you comes through. I want you to remember this amazing, luxury experience that you gave yourself every time you look at your photos from your session. Whether you decide to have them printed into large canvases to display in your bedroom or put them into one of my Little Black Books, you’ll have them there to remind you of that beautiful, bold, confident, worthy woman that you are.
