I strongly believe that all women are beautiful. But I love seeing the transformation within a woman from the inside out with her boudoir before and after.

Ladies walk into my studio and are unsure, hesitant, and maybe a little self conscious. It happens to nearly everyone. I think there’s maybe been one or two women who have told me before their session that they aren’t nervous. I love sharing these before and afters because I want you to witness the same transformation that I witness throughout every boudoir session that I do.

I’m not necessarily talking about the hair and makeup. But I’m talking about what happens from within. When a woman FEELS good about herself it’s going to shine through. And that’s exactly what happens when you sit down in my hair and makeup artist’s chair. Not only does she accentuate your best features, but she makes you feel so good and so ready for your photo shoot! And when you walk into your session with a little more confidence and self love, you’re just going to continue to feel it throughout!

But I Could Never Look Like That

Here’s the thing, I share these boudoir before and after photos with you because I hear this so much! Those women on your website must be models! There’s no way I could ever look like that! And this couldn’t be further from the truth.

The women on my website are absolutely stunning yes, but none of them are professional models. My boudoir clients come to me from all over Washington State as well as parts of Oregon and all of them are women just like you. Mothers, daughters, sisters, friends, teachers, wives, fitness specialists, lawyers, doctors, you name it. Every day women making it through life day to day just like all of us. But they reached out for a boudoir session with me because they wanted to feel like more than just this or just that. They wanted to reconnect with that beautiful, bold, confident woman that they know is in there. They just needed a little reminder and some help to pull her out.

Cassandra’s Beautiful Boudoir Before And After

So much fun working with this gorgeous woman! She came to me because she had recently lost a lot of weight and wanted to celebrate. That’s awesome. There’s always a story behind why someone wants to do a boudoir session. And it’s different every time. It’s always so much more than just wanting sexy photos and I love hearing each and every woman’s story that I get to photograph.

boudoir photography washington state

Born and raised in Washington State, I know the Pacific Northwest like the back of my hand. As a luxury boudoir photographer, my mission is simple: to reach as many women as I can and show them just how incredible they already are. This experience is about so much more than beautiful photos - it's a chance to see yourself through the eyes of those who love you, and to truly reconnect with the woman you are.
Since founding Boudoir Photography by Amber Carl in 2020, I've had the privilege of photographing countless women and couples, each experience as unique as the person in front of the lens. The greatest compliment I receive is how comfortable my clients feel with me. This is an intimate journey, and my goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where you can let your true self shine.
Take a look at my work and reach out - I'd love to help you experience the confidence and self love you deserve.
